Helping to Build Sustainable Businesses

CMAC Black Business Week was established by Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in June of 2021 with the purpose to drive support to Black owned businesses within the Chicago land area and increase economic development. 

This initiative is a week-long event that features Black business owners throughout the week through live interviews, live shopping, biz spotlights, and participating at our Official Juneteenth celebration.

This year’s events will take place Monday, June 17th through Friday, June 21st.  Below are the details of each day:

  • Mon 6/17 - Check out @CMACDeltas social media pages to learn about 4 amazing Black owned Business you should support

  • Tues 6/18 at 5:30p - CANCELLED

  • Wed 6/19 from 10:30a-8:30p - Join us at The DuSable to Shop from over 80 Chicago businesses, festivities and so much more! REGISTER TO VOTE at the CMAC Deltas Booth & Get a Sweet Treat On Us (while supplies last)

  • UPDATE: Thur 6/20 from 12p - Live Business interviews on the Brunch Bunch on iHeart 1390 AM

  • Fri 6/21 from 5:30-7:30p- Money Mob: We will simultaneously shop and support 4 different businesses; one on each side of town. Asking Sorors and friends to join us and spend at least $10 at the business they choose.
